Cheap Niagara Falls Hotels
The world famous Niagara Falls attracts approximately 20 million each year, with peak numbers in the summer months. The Falls are both a daytime and evening attraction, with different times of the day offering a unique experience.

Niagara Falls
For first time travelers to the Falls, you will have to decide whether you want to stay on the American side or the Canadian side as Niagara Falls borders the states of New York and Ontario. Niagara Falls is separated into 2 major sections: Horseshoe Falls (Majority on the Canadian side) and American Falls (On the American side). Viewpoints on the American shore generally are astride or behind the falls. The falls face directly toward the Canadian shore. Thus, the most complete views of Niagara Falls are from the Canadian side of the river.
From the Canadian side, there are floodlights illuminating both sides of the Falls for a few hours after dark till midnight. Probably the most well-known tourist attraction at the Falls is the “Maid in the Mist” boat cruise that brings people into the whirlpools beneath the Falls that departs from docks on either side of the Falls. On the American side, you can view the Falls while strolling on walkways along Prospect Point Park, which is also where the above mentioned boat dock is located. Alternatively, Queen Victoria Park on the Canadian side has underground walkways that give tourists the illusion of standing within the cascading waters. All in all, there are many observation points on both sides of the border, which will definitely satisfy. Be it observatories, platforms, boat cruises or even helicopter rides, you will indeed enjoy the magnificent falls from all angles.
